This is Fox, an enthusiastic Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever. A bit of long a name for a not so big dog, don’t you think?
Fox was a guest in the animal section of my practice this week. He has some behavioral challenges, among other things, and I’ve known him since he was a small puppy.
Owner Ellen came together with him for a session. Both one for owner and one for the dog this time (because that is also possible, especially if you have been through a lot together).
To this end, Fox was first treated in my animal treatment room. After that I added a treatment table just for this time and Fox could relax with the toys, play and sleep while owner Ellen was also treated by me.
That was a big success because Fox was wonderfully at ease in between the acts. So comfortable that in the room next to the animal practice, he took out various cuddly toys from the large dog cuddly box to play with. Ellen made this nice video.
And the fact that Tigger was killed during his game, is of course not that important….
